Mike is most proud of his work with UAHU. Sat on Utah Association of Health Underwriters Board as WebMaster
and technical advisor for health care mechanisms and programs.
Served from 2007 through 2010. Created UAHU.org website
and functions. Head IT developer and creator of
Utah Max
online program which lowers Utah uninsured by pulling state
based services together with private sector insurances. Mike
donated this program to UAHU and was lead project manager for
further development in hopes that Utah task force (Governor Huntsman
committee development that reports to GOED recommendations) would
adopt this strategy for healthcare reform. See

underwriting of new group Humana clientele as independent agent for
San Antonio Regional office under the direction of Linda Hummel,
regional director. Personally responsible for leading small group
sells 4 years running in group annualized premium sales. Personally
responsible for highest percentile of small group renewal for group
customer satisfaction for 7 years running. Maintained a 64% loss
ratio of that book of business year to date. |

dealing with product development and organization. Designed the
“Iplan list bill” and approval process to be used at future date
throughout Utah when regulatory climate permits. Managed the
enrollment and field underwriting of new group Altius clientele as
independent contractor under the direction of Bonnie Hansen, group
sales president. Managed the enrollment and field underwriting of
individual sales for Altius clientele as independent contractor
under the direction of Bonnie Hansen and Suzan Snow. Lead individual
sales for two years running. Lead customer satisfaction year to
date. Complaint ratio less than 2% of block of business with
individual policy holders. This was a record setting performance
considering the infant stage & untested policy performance of the
new individual / family insurance plans. Was invited and maintained
an office at the Altius marketing department during years of
2000-2002. Responsible for several procedure protocols. Developed
the “agent lead” campaign. Was responsible in part for development
of marketing concepts and ideas of the individual plans for market
exposure. Responsible for 1.5 million in annualized premium sales
during that tenor of individual policy sales. |
